BEHIND THE PAY WALL: Book update
It’s a leap year. We have one (brand new) cartoon about Leap Year but it’s going to be a Buddy and Romeo: Alone for the Holidays exclusive. More on the book behind the paywall.
Now let’s do some jumps!
Bring your friends!
After Buddy and Romeo’s newspaper comic strip ended daily publication, every so often, I sketched out an idea for a comic strip in the sketchbook. This happened only three or four times and mainly served the purpose of keeping the characters alive on Instagram as we transitioned that account as being exclusively dedicated to Buddy and Romeo to its current iteration (largely promoting our magazine cartoons and greeting card line Coffee Lovers’ Christmas).
Here is the last of those sketchbook comics, from August 22, 2021:
A jumping cartoon on CartoonStock.
If you’re enjoying yourself at Buddy and Romeo’s expense so far, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. You’ll get exclusive comics and commentaries; behind-the-scenes drawings and project developments; and access to this entire Substack archive. Plus, the more coffee we drink, the more we’ll create.
